The b/w photography mirrors the collection itself, letting form take precedence over color. Figures are blurred, reflecting the quiet mood Kay described for the work. The project merges fashion and graphic design into a visual narrative.

A publication documenting a series of dérives, this are unplanned walks guided purely by curiosity. Shot on self developed film and typed on a typewriter, the project uses analog process as a way of staying present and disconnected from the digital. Rotterdam marks the first dérive, chosen for its unfamiliarity. Haarlem follows as a contrast, tracing a part of my hometown I'd never really looked at. The cover is a piece of unbleached cotton dragged along the route which carries the stains and textures of the journey itself, turning the publication into something closer to a canvas than a book.
